I may have an opportunity to decide if I want to change my vocation. I may be able to acquire a 150 Acre farm off the grid with some help from some friends. I for one have zero practical knowledge of farming, particularly using general methods from the 50's. I need good solid wisdom that folks in this area have to balance my book learning. My possible location is in the Ozarks more to the SE section of Missouri.

Well fall has arrived at the farm. We have just finished having a new septic system put in - what an ordeal that is - the project has been going on since last April - What with county reg and trying to schedule the work - it took longer than expected. The good news is some of the problems with water flow into the old system are corrected with the new system. Finish up with Farmer's markets this coming Saturday at Overland Park. Now off to our winter shows.
